COACHING
DESIGNED
FOR YOU

Edward studied Fine Art at the prestigious and celebrated Slade School of Art, University College London.  His unique range of observational skills, incisive critical thinking make up his individualised approach to analytical and professional practice as a coach giving him a range of skills applicable across the creative industries as well as a unique approach to other settings in business and the public sector.

'On reflection my arts training was the start of my coaching journey;  The Slade School is known for both its strong traditions in drawing painting alongside  its rigorous and experimental approach to art education. It has a unique system of one-on-one tutorials, where students receive individual attention and guidance from tutors who are themselves practicing artists.  I was taught by notable British Artists such as Professor Bernard Cohen, Bruce McClean and Euan Uglow who used questioning in order to start a dialogue, stimulate a creative response and raise self-awareness.  In that sense they never taught me to paint but challenged me to think.'

Edward applied these characteristics for twenty years in educational leadership with expertise in behaviour management in devising and implementing coaching and mentoring programmes to raise achievement in teams and individuals.

'Unlocking potential to improve performance in life, business and career rests with forming a trusting client partnership to provoke and increase self-awareness; both personal and professional.'

The combination of Arts education and role in leadership form the basis of his coaching relationships with clients to develop their attention to detail, communication, personal discipline, and interpersonal skills combined with technical ability and time management.

'In devising personalised programmes I maximise my clients presence, confidence and ability to communicate effectively, set goals and increase leverage to elicit both personal goals and within business maximise the strengths in others.'

Whilst having significant impact in leading large teams with coaching and mentoring programmes Edward is absolute in his conviction to adhere and promote recognised professional standards.

'Coaching accreditation demonstrates my commitment and responsibility to the value of continual investment in my practice.  Maintaining that high quality standard underpins trust and personal accountability for my clients.'
